As a result of our 1st Annual Matthew Mayo Cornhole Tournament, we are proud to announce that 3 individuals were awarded scholarships.

Kellie Boykin of Wilson.  Kellie was awarded a $10,000 scholarship, which will be used as she majors in Exercise Science at UNC- Wilmington.  Once completing her 4 year degree in ES, Kellie plans to further her education studying Physical Therapy.  Kellie is a 2017 graduate from James Hunt High School, Matthew’s alma mater.  

Two other recipients were members of Matthew’s church – Little Rock Original Free Will Baptist Church.  They were each provided a $2,500 scholarship, which will be used as they attend Wilson Community College. They wish to remain anonymous.
