THANK YOU ALL for making the 2nd annual Matt Mayo Cornhole Tournament held October 7, 2017 yet another unbelievable success!!!! Family, friends, and neighbors all came together to honor the life and memory of our dear friend Matt Mayo, son of Sam and Suzanne Mayo and brother/brother-in-law of Jessica and Will Edwards. With your wonderful kindness, generosity, and support, over $27,000 was raised for the Matthew Mayo Memorial Scholarship Fund! This slightly exceeds the amount raised in the inaugural event held last year.

To all of you that helped make the event a tremendous success – cornhole players, raffle ticket buyers, auction participants, donors, organizers,event helpers, auctioneers, cooks, DJ -words cannot express our sincerest gratitude for your kindness, caring, and support. It would not have been possible without you! We were blessed with another beautiful day, and we were so pleased with everyone who was able to come out and enjoy the event with us. We are all humbled and reminded of the goodness that lives in so many. And please know the funds raised will go to the Matthew Mayo Memorial Scholarship Fund to benefit graduating seniors from Wilson Hunt High School, Matt’s alma mater, who plan to pursue higher education.

We’d also like to congratulate Jamie and Kyle Knowles for winning the cornhole tournament! Second place went to Chase Gaskins and Dylan Wood.

In sum, the Lord blessed us with a wonderful day to come together to fellowship with one another, to show love to the Mayo family, and to remember our friend Matt. A heartfelt thank you too all who made it possible!
